Energy Atlantica is a Nova Scotia based company focusing on managing the oil and natural gas assets of large commercial and industrial customers in Atlantic Canada and the north-eastern United States. Since its modest beginning in 2005, it has grown into a diverse company providing numerous services including 24/7/365 operational coverage, fuel procurement in the long and short term markets, contract negotiation, daily balancing and scheduling, providing regulatory advice, and devising and executing complex hedging strategies. |
The company strives to answer the phone on the first ring, address every issue no matter how small, and obsesses about providing the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Energy Atlantica is also aiming to utilize the skills of its employees to make small but positive changes to the world. In 2007, the employees of Energy Atlantica founded GIVETOLIVE, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to making a small difference in the war against cancer and a large difference in the lives of those fighting that war. To date, the employees have volunteered their time to organize charity bicycle rides for over 150 cyclists covering 150,000 collective kilometres and raised over $1.3 million.
